1. What we do
EasyApply.ca ("we," "us") provides a job application service for job seekers in Canada. We offer three packages, each available as a one-time payment or a recurring subscription:
- Starter ($49 CAD): we submit up to 50 job applications on your behalf using your existing resume.
- Apply Only ($99 CAD): we submit up to 150 job applications on your behalf using your existing resume.
- Custom Resumes + Apply ($199 CAD): we rebuild your resume, then submit up to 150 tailored applications on your behalf.
Roles are matched using AI-assisted tools, but every application is reviewed and submitted by a real person on our team. By creating an account or purchasing a package, you agree to this document, which covers both how the service works and how we handle your information.
2. No guaranteed outcomes
We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment of any kind. We guarantee that applications you've paid for will be submitted properly, by a real person, to roles matching the criteria you provide. Hiring decisions are made entirely by employers and are outside our control.
3. Information we collect
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you give us. When you use EasyApply.ca, we collect:
- Contact info: name, email, phone number
- Job preferences: target role, location, salary range, must-haves, deal-breakers, and which roles to apply to
- Your resume file, and/or education and work history, and LinkedIn/portfolio link
- Payment confirmation from our payment processor (we never see or store your full card details)
4. How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide the service you paid for:
- Matching and submitting job applications on your behalf
- Building or tailoring your resume, if you purchased that package
- Sending you confirmation emails and your dashboard access link
- Letting our team review your intake and log the applications submitted for you
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share limited data with the service providers that run EasyApply.ca:
- Stripe — processes your payment. We never see your full card number.
- Cloudflare — hosts our site, database, and stores uploaded resume files.
- Resend — delivers our transactional emails (confirmations, dashboard links).
- Employers — the actual job applications we submit on your behalf naturally include your resume and contact details, as they would if you applied yourself.
We don't share your information with anyone else without your consent, except where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We retain your information for as long as needed to deliver the service and maintain a record of applications submitted on your behalf. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us directly. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage and restricted access to your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.
9. Children's privacy
EasyApply.ca is intended for job seekers who are legally able to work in Canada and is not directed at children.
10. Applying through third-party platforms
Many applications go through employer or applicant-tracking platforms (for example Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Greenhouse, or Lever). Where a listing requires an account on one of these platforms, we may create or use one on your behalf, solely to submit your application. You remain responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any third-party platform your application is submitted through; we're not responsible for how those platforms handle your information once submitted.
11. Communications
By using EasyApply.ca, you consent to receive service-related communications by email — payment confirmations, intake updates, dashboard links, and application status. These are necessary to deliver the service and can't be opted out of while your package is active. We do not sell your contact information or use it to send communications unrelated to your package.
12. Content, account use, and dashboard links
Everything on this site — text, design, and branding — belongs to EasyApply.ca. Using the site or your dashboard gives you a limited, personal license to access your own application data; it doesn't give you rights to copy, resell, or redistribute our materials. Our admin tools use a session cookie to keep our team logged in; your customer dashboard uses a unique link (not a password) instead — keep that link private, since anyone with it can view your application history.
13. Payment, subscriptions, and refunds
All prices are in CAD, charged through our payment processor. At checkout, you choose how each package is billed:
- One-time: a single payment, no renewal, no further charges.
- Subscription: renews automatically every 4 weeks at a discounted rate until you cancel, delivering a fresh batch of applications each cycle. For Custom Resumes + Apply, the first payment covers the resume rebuild plus that cycle's applications; renewals afterward are billed at the Apply Only subscription rate, since the resume doesn't need to be rebuilt again.
Subscriptions can be canceled anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
All payments are final. Once a payment is processed — a one-time payment or a subscription charge — it is non-refundable, whether or not we've started submitting applications against it.
14. How fast we work
We typically begin submitting applications within 1–2 business days of your intake being complete (and your new resume, if you're on Custom Resumes + Apply). From there, applications go out on a rolling basis as matching roles come in — we don't batch or delay them to hit a quota.
15. Acceptable use
You agree not to use EasyApply.ca to misrepresent your qualifications, submit fraudulent information to employers, or otherwise use the service for unlawful purposes. We reserve the right to refuse or stop service, without refund, if we reasonably believe it's being misused.
16. Feedback and testimonials
If you share feedback with us, we may use it — attributed or anonymized, at your preference — in our marketing. We only use real feedback from real customers; let us know anytime if you'd like something you shared removed or changed.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, EasyApply.ca is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including outcomes of job applications submitted on your behalf. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the applicable package.
18. Entire agreement
This document is the complete agreement between you and EasyApply.ca regarding the service, covering both our terms of service and our privacy practices, and replaces any prior discussions or understandings on the subject.
19. Changes to this document
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
20. Governing law
This document is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
